In August 2018, Niko sneaked into the KSI vs. Logan Paul boxing event and entered the ring; he was subsequently ejected by security. The next year, Niko again sneaked into the KSI vs. Logan Paul II event.

Before sneaking into the event, Niko met Shannon Briggs and pranked him, which became viral. At the KSI vs. Logan II, Niko again entered the ring.

In February 2019, Niko Omilana founded the Beta Squad YouTube group along with four other YouTubers including Chunkz.

Niko was officially banned from the AnEsonGib vs. Jake Paul fight. However, Niko went inside the event in disguise as "Reng Sayeed".

He was then kicked out of the event. After these boxing events, Niko kept uploading pranks, and then in April 2021, he announced that he was running for the 2021 London mayoral elections.

Political career

London mayoral elections

Omilana stood as an independent candidate in the 2021 London mayoral election. His main election's manifesto was telling "Boris to shush". On May 6, the election took place with Omilana coming fifth with 49,628 votes (2%). The Guardian noted that Niko was joining part of a significant wave of new YouTubers who were turning to local elections. Omilana did not answer inquiries from the BBC as to how much money he had made from YouTube videos deriving from his campaign, but Hussein Kesvani estimated he would make back his lost £10000 deposit through increased YouTube revenues.
